Village Partnership Initiative Reports

The City of Brewer is working with Stantec, the Maine Department of Transportation (MDOT), and the Bangor Area Comprehensive Transportation System (BACTS) on a Village Partnership Initiative (VPI) to enhance Center Street.  The City has also been working with these groups to develop a corridor study to make improvements along South Main Street. These initiatives aim to improve safety, accessibility, and overall streetscape design to create a more pedestrian-friendly and vibrant corridor for residents, businesses, and visitors.

As part of this effort, comprehensive studies have been conducted for both areas. The reports detail potential improvements and strategies to enhance connectivity, traffic flow, and community spaces.
