Sewer: Interest is charged on unpaid sewer balances after the end of the month. Some time four months to one year after a bill’s due date, the City will place a lien on the property associated with unpaid sewer balances.
Water: Unpaid water accounts will receive a shut-off notice if the account remains unpaid after the end of the month. After 90 days, the Water Department will place a lien on the property with unpaid water bills.
Outside Water Use
We recognize that many residential customers use water outside during the summer months. If the water used outside does not enter the sewer system, it is possible to receive an adjustment to your sewer bill if you participate in the Residential Submeter Program. Click the link to learn more.
