Welcome to the Brewer Farmers Market!
Farmers selling at the Brewer Farmers’ Market offer a wide selection of farm products in season from mid-May through the end of October.
The peak of harvest in Maine’s short growing season is late July through September when variety is greatest and most farms are at the market. However, there is much to be found all season long, from hanging baskets for Mothers’ Day, to jams, jellies, breads and pastries, cheese, syrup, meats, plants, cut flowers, fresh fruits and vegetables, through to the last pumpkin at Halloween.
The number of farms present and the variety of products can vary from day to day and as new crops ripen in season. The greatest number of farmers and greatest variety can be found on Saturdays. When they’re in season, check daily for fresh strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and other fast ripening short season crops.
Each farm has something unique to offer. Compare varieties, price, and quality and get the best local produce Maine has to offer.
Many members accept credit and debit cards.
The market accepts EBT/SNAP (Food Stamps) on Saturdays in July, August and September. SNAP customers can double their money with coupons for free fresh fruits and vegetables. (How it works: Make a purchase with your SNAP card and get an equal amount of bonus coupons to use on fruits and vegetables at the market.)
Free Weekly Food Basket Raffle in August & September. Children’s programs and other events periodically through the season. Visit us on Facebook for weekly updates, products in season, events at the market and other news.
