Good Time Hour
Good Time Hour provides preschoolers with the chance to participate in a variety of recreational activities including; crafts, games, story time and circle time. The Joseph L. Ferris Community Center, Brewer Public Library, Brewer City Hall and other administrative offices will be closed Monday, July 5th, in observance of Independence Day. Brewer Public Safety – Brewer Police and Fire Departments are open 24/7. Call 911 for EMERGENCY CALLS. Call 989-7001 for NON-emergency calls. July 5th - Household trash will be collected. Join historian Tom Huntington as he talks about the soldiers from Maine who made their presence felt all over the battlefield in July 1863, including the 17th Maine, who fought ably in the confused and bloody fighting in the Wheatfield, the 19th Maine, who helped defeat Pickett’s Charge, and of course Chamberlain’s men and their legendary stand at Little Round Top.
