BREWER, Maine — Please join us and support our “PLANT HOPE” Project across Maine, New England and the U.S. We are a new 501 3c non-profit based in Maine and are trying to raise awareness for Pancreatic Cancer by planting purple iris bulbs in communities across the country. Hope to see you at this Kick-Off Event in Brewer, ME on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 12 noon. We will be planting purple iris bulbs at the library that day and bulbs will be available to take home for a small donation.

Meet Chris Parrish, a 5 year Pancreatic Cancer survivor. She is still going strong and getting ready to participate in a mini triathlon, Tri for a Cure in Portland in August! The Purple Iris Foundation has been her dream to guide and help others and increase awareness! Chris will be telling her story and answering your questions. Chris has a truly inspiring outlook on life.
