What do you want Brewer to look like in 5 years? 10 years? How can Main Street and Downtown Brewer rise up to its role as a key destination of economic vibrancy? The Brewer Village Partnership Initiative and South Main Street Corridor Study both began earlier this year with the goals of:
• Improving safety and accessibility for all users (walkers, bikers, drivers, and transit riders)
• Expanding active transportation connections and facilities
• Supporting future growth and economic development by enhancing the look, feel and character of the streetscape

The project team has collected a large amount of data to understand the area’s transportation network by conducting a public survey, analyzing traffic data, and inventorying existing conditions. We now invite you to attend an open house to help weigh in on the future of North/South Main Street and Downtown Brewer:

Date: Monday, September 30
Time: 1:00pm – 3:00pm OR 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Location: Brewer City Council Chambers, 80 North Main Street

We will start each meeting with a brief presentation providing a project overview. This will be followed by an open house where the project team will share a series of maps and information identifying some of the challenges and opportunities within the project area and solicit your feedback. Using your local knowledge and input, we will then develop a series of concept plans and recommendations that may include priorities such as intersection redesigns, recommended zoning adjustments, suggested pedestrian amenities, and more!
