A paving contractor working for the City will begin overnight milling work on the night of Sunday 4/23/23.  They plan to begin at 7 pm and to be off the roadway by 6 am.  They will be working on North Main Street between State Street and Wilson Street and will be working on State Street from Eastern Avenue to Mullen Way.  They will be starting on North Main Street on 4/23/23.  On North Main Street, the contractor will be detouring westbound (heading towards Wilson Street) traffic around the section from State Street to Betton/Parker Street.  The detour will send vehicles down Penobscot Street.  Work will continue at night next week until all milling is complete on both sections of road.  Paving operations will follow once utility adjustments have been made in the following weeks.
