Press Release:

Brewer, Maine- May 19, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
The City of Brewer is required by its Maine Department of Environmental Protection Stormwater Discharge Permit to perform Public Education and Outreach Programs to raise awareness that polluted stormwater runoff is the most significant source of water quality problems for Maine waters.
Disabled Veterans from Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing have volunteered to install catch basin markers for the City of Brewer. Each marker has the message “NO DUMPING-DRAINS TO RIVER” with a picture of a fish in the middle of the marker.  Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. is dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities including education and outings.
