BREWER, Maine — Crews will be installing new curbing, performing drainage work and widening the shoulders on Wilson Street (Route 1A) in Brewer beginning on Monday, Oct. 21, according to the Maine Department of Transportation.

 The area is located from Parkway South to just east of Bartlett Road. Traffic will be restricted to one lane eastbound out of town. Flaggers will assist motorists through the work zone.

 It is anticipated all work for the season will be completed by Wednesday, Nov. 27.

This $1 million project will be performed by Maine Earth, Inc.
