Giving to the Brewer Public Library

  • Give to the Brewer Public Library Book Fund
  • Give to support Brewer Public Library programming

At this time, the Library is unable to accept item donations, except the following:
– New books published within the last six months
– Brewer history items

– Audiobooks
– DVDs

Book donations can only be accepted within the Library during regular hours; please do not leave donations in the parking lot or the after-hours book drop. Please call the Library for information on where to take all donations that do not fall into the previous categories.

Memorial Donations
Monetary gifts and memorial donations are respectfully accepted. Funds given without designation will be used at the discretion of the Library Director to support the mission and programs of the Library. Funds donated to support our collection will be used in accordance with the Library selection policy. Recognition is given with book plates placed in the materials, thank-you letters written by the Library Director to both the donor and any family members specified, and a listing in the Library Memorial Book.

Library Association
Join the Brewer Library Association for $5.00 per year. The Library Association is an independent nonprofit organization that provides support for Library projects. Contact the Library Director for more information.

Volunteering
Volunteer needs vary at the Library, depending on seasonal projects; at this time, the Library is not seeking new volunteers. Those interested in being added to a rotating list of volunteers for future projects may stop by the circulation desk to fill out a volunteer application, or print an application and mail it to the Library. Volunteer applicants must be age 14 or older.
