The Brewer Public Library is a certified Passport Facility, where you can apply for passport books and/or cards, Monday – Friday, 10AM – 4PM. An appointment is required. To make an appointment, call the Brewer Public Library at (207) 989-7943. National Passport Processing Centers currently take 4-6 weeks to process a passport, or 2-3 weeks if you expedite your application.

- Your most recent passport book or card has been expired for more than five years (more than fifteen years from date of issue).
If you want to renew a current passport book or card that expired less than five years ago, you may qualify to apply online through the US Department of State. Click here for details.
