The Joseph L. Ferris Community Center, Brewer Public Library, Brewer City Hall and other administrative offices will be closed Monday, May 31th, in observance of Memorial Day. Brewer Public Safety – Brewer Police and Fire Departments are open 24/7. Call 911 for EMERGENCY CALLS. Call 989-7001 for NON-emergency calls. No household trash will be collected on Monday. The history of quilting in Maine is a story of community and Maine State Museum curator Laurie LaBar coaxes stories out of objects and uses those stories to enlighten, entertain, and bring new voices to Maine history.
