The City of Brewer’s Brewer Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a full time Recreation Programmer/Facility Assistant to assist with various recreation activities and facilities. This Position is responsible for organizing, coordinating and supervising various recreation programs, leagues and activities.  In addition, this position will assist in supervising and maintaining recreation facilities.  Varying hours with some weekends and evenings are required.

Deputy Tax Collector

The City of Brewer is seeking a motivated, team-oriented individual to fill the position of Deputy Tax Collector. The successful candidate will possess strong customer service skills, be detail oriented, computer proficient, and knowledgeable in processing tax collections, utility payments, and motor vehicle registrations. 
     Duties also include fish, game and dog licenses, recreational vehicle registration, collection and posting of daily receipts, preparation of bank deposits, cash drawer balancing, completion of weekly reports to state agencies, processing tax and sewer liens, and providing general office support in a team environment.
     Seeking candidates with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a municipal tax office and motor vehicle registrations or equivalent.  Familiarity with accounting practices and spreadsheets desirable.  Experience with MUNIS software a plus.
